I have to get new tires ASAP so I decided to get new rims, too. I want to get the Moven M13 (monoblock vi replica), but I'm not sure of their offset. Is it as simple as putting the tires on them and mounting the wheels, or will I need to change the offset? What is the original factory offset?

My car is lowered with H&R.

Tires: Kumho Ecsta 711 - 225/40/18
Rims: Moven M13: 18x8.5

The offset is 35mm for the 18x8.5

As far as I'm aware, this is the only offset they make, and this is the offset you need.

Other issues you might run into are bolt length and center bore size. Your stock bolts may be too long in the rear. If so you can grind them down or buy slightly shorter ones. As long as you have about 6 threads protruding from the back of the wheel they'll be long enough. I know there are a few guys here that have these wheels, so you can try asking them. Off the top of my head I think KenzBenz has them, among others. Try searching previous posts for Moven.

Also, you might need hub spacer rings if the center bore of the wheel is larger than the mercedes hub size of 66.56mm. Again, try asking people here that have them. Also, I'm sure you can get in contact with Moven through their website at movenwheels.com if you can't find out the center bore from wherever you're buying them from. If you need hub spacer rings you can get them at purems.com.

BTW, you can fit a 255-35-18 tire in the rear for more traction and a more aggresive look.

How much are you paying or did you get quoted for those wheels and tire set up? I can probably get you a better deal, Email me if you're interested.

for the movens 35mm offset, you'll need shorter lugs for the rear for sure or you can put a 5mm spacer which worked good for me also.

Movens have a 38mm offset, not 35mm. In some applications, you have to run a 3mm spacer in the fronts in order for it to clear the suspension parts. If you buy the rims new, it should come with all the hardware necessary inorder to make it work on your car.

You don't need any spacers with those Moven style wheels.

I was under the impression they were et35 for the 18x8.5. The only place I could find that listed the offset was Spy Engineering's website.

link (http://www.spyeng.com/product_info.php?products_id=2783)

They list the Moven M13 in 18x8.5 et35, 18x9.5 et37, 19x8.5 et37 and 19x9.5 et38.

I'm not sure if they're accurate though.

I got the wheels put on Thursday. They came w/ the standard 35mm offset. Had to get shorter lugs, but they went on no problem.

Hopefully, I'll have some pics to post tonight.
