Amplified antenna?

Can someone tell me if the antenna used for our stereos utilizes an amplified antenna or not?

I am looking to buy an antenna adapter and want to make sure to buy the correct one.

what are you trying to do.

If you only want to install and aftermarket headunit as audiophile mentioned euro adapter antenna will work (same part as Audi, VW and BMW antenna adapeter).

Also, what brand wiring harness should I use? Scosche or Metra or ???

I use a Scosche. Are you in Michigan? I possiblly can help you with this.

Actually, Im on the West Coast but thanks anyway. I pretty much know what to do, just want to buy quality parts and not some junk.
