air intake system

anyone know what air intake systems are available for a 1999 c230 k? If so where and how much?

Im fairly sure there is no replacement intake made buy a company as such,but you can make your own very easily...
it will be loud due to the SC whine.

thanks, i kinda thought that was going to be the case. the noise factor is not an issue, making one myself will be though.

well, no specific companies made intakes for the w202. however, u can check with roarfilters.com. they biuld a fully carbon fiber constructed intake accomodated with duo layer foam filters. they would have specific sizing for your car. they cost about 400 each and u get the whole unit including carbon fiber pipes.u can probably get it new on ebay for about $200 if u can find it. people say carbon fiber does a great job in terms of heat shielding.

doing the intake on this model is very debatable.......
