Greetings,
I am a newbie here and before I became a member I saw how cool this club is... I hope you guys could help me troubleshoot this...

The problem is that the door lock/unlock wouldn't work in my car..so if I'm driving and need to unlock doors for ppl to come in, I have to switch of the engine to unlock all doors or I would have to manually unlock each door..it's the same for the trunk too, if engine is running and I want to open it I couldn't unless I switch the car off 1st.. How do I repair this? The locks work fine but I guess its the switch then? Any suggestion?
Thanks

Keep this site cool as always guys!:D

Sounds like a failing vacume pump. Do you hear any noises, air leaks, pumping sounds, ect? The pump is in the right side of the trunk. It has a bumch of yellow hoses coming from it, make sure they are all secure and feel the pump to make sure its working. Worst case is the pump is dead, and $350 for a new one. Best case is a loose line and just 5min of your time. This is what I think it is based on my troubleshooting my own pump failure.

I don't really think that the vac pump is faulty as all the locks work when i switch the car off and it also works when I use the remote key. What I mean is the lock/unlock switch thats located beside the hazard light switch is not working when I press it to lock/unlock all doors...:(
Please help

Well at a guess it may be that switch/wiring for that switch that my need attention ;)
take ure dash apart and have an investigation if all wires and connectors are ok, and a bit of wd40/crc on the back of the switch wont harm anything.
this would be my first check point. seach how to take dash apart if u want to do that ^
