Here is the link to it on my site. http://202tech.mkosonen.com/howto/maf.html
I will post it on here too since it is a pretty popular replacement.
Well this replacement came to me as a surprise when I was in Seattle. My MAF/MAS/AMM/AFM or whatever you want to call it bailed out on me when I was over an hour from home. Fortunately I was only a 20 minute walk from the nearest dealership. I picked up my new MAF meter for $358 +tax/core. All I had to replace it was my stock tool kit, a parking garage, and my digital camera.
Start off by unscrewing the hose clamp (Philips screwdriver), and unlatching the TWO latches from the air box. These are circled in the picture below.

Next, turn the grippy part of the connector Counter Clockwise and disconnect it from the sensor. Once removed, slide the intake boot off of the MAF, and then slide it out of the intake air-box.
Installation is reverse of removal. Be very careful with the new MAF. Also, if you had to drive the car for very long on the old MAF, your spark plugs may have fouled out, so it may still run bad until either the plugs get "cleaned off" by the heat, or you may even have to replace the plugs. Good luck!
