Any bad experience with wheels?

Heya,
Have u guys ever got your car wheels stolen before??
Its coz I'm planning to upgrade my wheels and a little worried that it might be stolen...Are there such stuff as wheels/rims security.. like special bolts or whatever??
Any comments guys?

do people really steal "wheels" ? i mean i think its ridiculous..

anyways, i heard porsche wheels has lock on them, that means when you want to take them of you need a key, not sure about others..

Honestly, I think you'll be safe. its a German Car.
people dont buy mercedes because they dont have money
to buy anything else and mod the cars buy stealing other peoples Stuff.
although they will steal or take your car if they want to.
our bolt pattern and offset wont fit any other car except benz.
I could be wrong but you know what i mean.

Thats not quite true. They don't directly bolt onto other cars, but with right adapters they weill bolt onto Audis/ and VWs. I've seen a few passats and jettas rolling on monoblocks. To the OP you can buy wheel locks. They're basically wheel bolts that need a special key to take them off. They're like $40 for a set, and you only need one.

Yeah, they do steal wheels on cars...I need to look for that special bolt...but crsh2 is right too cos the offset is different..they usually opt with wheels that are on rice

look at your middle consol above the HVAC you should have a pix of a car and a tow hook, that is to deactive the alarm if the car is being towed, if you have that switch you have the level alarm, you just need to activate it when you leaev the car unattended by locking the doors, if anyone jacks the car up, they dont need to do it far, allot less then getting a wheel off the ground the alarm will go off, i have done this on accedient a few times...

Not to scare you off.....my friend's 18" Carlsson were stolen in front of his house while he was sleeping at night. The Jack ass put wooden blocks to replace those wheels.
Now...I'll make sure my car is in the garage!!
