My brake indicator light is coming on.. (68k miles)


Guess I need new pads.

Will I need new sensors?

Is it most likely just the front pads?

How much should I expect to pay?

Which pads to use? Are there any that don't leave brake dust?

New Pads, Yes.

New Sensors, Yes.

Most likely just the fronts, Yes.

I have PBR Deluxe pads on the front in my car, they put off close to ZERO dust. The feel and the stopping power isn't quite as good as the stock pads, but it's not too big of a difference. Do a search on this subject, you'll find plenty of info on what to get and how to change them yourself. Seems like when I searched most people agreed PBR Deluxe were pretty good. I got mine from mercedesshop.com for around $60.
