I was driving with my friend to get food the other night and he was messing with his wrist watch (digital btw), so for the heck of it, I asked him to time my 0-60 at the stop light. I put it into 4th and gunned it from the stop light. He stopped the watch right when I hit 60 and it said to my suprise...whoa dude, 7.1 seconds.

Ok, let's try that again...I get to another stop light, do the same, and this time I get a 7.3second reading. I'm like...wow, that's pretty awesome for a c230k that has a published 0-60 time of 8.1 seconds.

The only things I have in my car is an upsolute chip and k&n drop in filter.

Plausible? or was there just something in the air ha.

dude, take it to the track. Stopwatch timing is ghetto and innacurate.

that is plausible.. I have one of those Beltronics performance computers (kinda like the G-tech pro)
I was messing around with it in the winter time.. had winter tires on (225/45/17 pirellis) no snow on the roads.. but slushy and wet roads.. I pulled a 0-60mph time of 6.3 seconds.. I havent played around with it since.. I should really have another go with it.. cause since then Ive installed my custom intake!!

Yea, that beltronics unit sells for something like $80 and measures everything, 1/4 times, 0-60, ect.

yep!!.. pulley kit, upsolute chip, custom cat back exhaust, custom intake.. more engine mods to come.
now I wanna play with my beltronics Vector!! Im gonna have to do some more runs.
and Im pretty sure it was 6.3 seconds from 0-60mph.. if not then it was at most 6.7 seconds.. and that on slushy wet roads with winter tires and lack of traction!!.. just think what I could pull on my summer tires and dry hot roads!!
