OK is there anything more affordable then dynamat, i've heard of people using roofing tar tarp, looks and feels just like dynamat except a roll cost like 50 bucks and about 200 sQ ft. of coverage.

thanks for the help

How about using some spray-on undercoating/dampening? I used to own a Jeep Wrangler, and one of the options is to get a hide-a-trunk. I put a bass tube in it and it rattled like crazy. So I took out the "trunk" and lined it with the coating. Rattling toned down a bit. Also, I had a hardtop and didnt notice any funky smell from the coating.

Just a thought, cost only a couple of bucks.

hehe
That stuff is really good.
I used it alot and 1 roll should be enough for 1 car.
Sure you can get Dynamat, but pay the price.
Is dynamat any better? Yes, for your own mind.
In practice, it's all about installing them.

peace out,
