I remember on the old forum someone said you could get the error code by punching in a sequence of buttons on the climate control... is this true, and what's the sequence? Or was I just smoking something?

Yes, it's only on pre-OBDII vehicles. The check engine will flash the code. benz' climate control does that too I believe.

I have a 95 c36, will this work on my car? how do I check the codes? and what will they mean?
