Trunk Emblem replacement

Sorry for asking this question but I need to change my trunk star emblem and I bought a replacement already, but does anyone know how to replace it. Do I just remove the trunk lining on the top where there are little button like things? Thanks for the help in advance. :) :)

Thats gonna be a challenge. (At least only for the removal.
1. Take off the botton thingy and remove the carpet lining behind the trunk door.
2. Locate the 3 dots exactly behind the star emblem.
3. Use a screw driver or something long and hard to push the dots out.
4. put in the new emblem. and everything else

Try using dental floss and slide it underneath the emblem and work it loose. Worked for me! :D Should take less than 5 mins.
