Its looks like you could change your own oil while wearing a Gucci suit with this thing. I just changed my oil (using traditional drain plug) and got oil everywhere, no matter how big of a pan it seems like you always miss.

I think I wil buy this next time I change my oil, and will report how good it works after that. Have any of you had expereince with it?

Very good product.
They have been around for, oh......maybe 25 years. ;)

I'll still take a topsider. Even with an oil drain valve, you'll need to get under the car. With a topsider, all you need is to open the hood. It also makes taking the oil in for recycling much easier.

I lost my old top-sider :(

But I have to get underneath my car anyway b/c the WRX oil filter is under the car.

So does this thing leak? Does it stay securely closed???

It does NOT leak & it WILL stay closed.
P.S. Topsiders are for people that don't care what goes on under their vehicle.
Personally, I like to get " down there " every now & then & check things out. ;)

we used to install these on 911's. not bad, takes a while for all the oil to drain, though.
