Dumb question but I need to replace the wood around my shifter as it's all cracked.

Found a place in sweden selling them, but I need to know whether my car has burled wood or zebrano?

The car is a 1995 UK spec C280 with silver grey leather

The picture above is an example, I do not have this style, is this burled wood or zebrano?

Many thanks.

My educated guess would be that that picture is of burled wood, as opposed to zebrano, which presumably has a straighter, striped grain. My '95 C280 also has the latter, and is also cracked. If i were to get it replaced, I think the burled wood is more attractive, but then it wouldn't match the other wood trim...unless of course you replaced every piece of trim.

Brilliant thanks for your help, I think I've got zebrano, must be called that due to the stripes, it's logical.

Just been out to the car and taken a shot of it, the picture is below.

P.S. wheels arrive for the car next Tuesday. I've only had it 1 week, you guys are in for a treat.
