If you are in the back seat, pry up the side closest to you, then pull toward yourself to release the rear clips.

ur lucky!
my ones bearly even stay down properly! they keep falling out, need some new clips or glue.
but yea if you pry up from the front slightly u should be able to see where the anchor points for the clips are and pry around these, often looking in the rear window while someone else is doing this can be of help, cos you can see everything easy then

the problem is something even when you able to release the speaker housing from the rear deck. You're might have some difficulties to free it from the rear deck shelf.

Normally I always take out the rear deck shelf out of the way.
However its involved more work to be able to take the rear deck completelhy since you will have to dismount rear headrest as well. And the rear seat.

Other than that I personally would not use force to take out the rear speaker.

PS: Whatever happened don't force it otherwise you might break some tabs for the rear deck and could result in rattles...

You can always take out the medical kit base and pop out the grill from the other side. I never had a problem getting the grills out with a flat head.

I dont know where to pry them off? If im sitting in the back seat facing the rear window where do I pry them off.

One needs to be specific when explaining the *front* and *back* parts of the grille.
