I'm driving down 29 in Silver Spring, MD and as some of yall know its a fairly busy road most of the time. I'm driving along with traffic going about 40mph near 4 corners. Theres a cop in front of me (I'm in the middle of 3 lanes) and all of a sudden the STOPS! Dead in the middle of the street with no warning no nothin... I slam on my brakes and barely miss him and 2 seconds later I get hit from behind. Juding by the pics how much do you think it will cost to fix from the stealership? Keep in mind my trunk can't close properly anymore and my alignment is messed up now. Also my girl hurt her neck... so she might get paid

The "funny" thing is the cop that stopped in the middle of the road was the same cop that pulled me over for my first speeding ticket

go to a good independant. prolly fix that bumper, pull the rebar and back panel to lineup the trunk again. take a pic during the day.

oh and if u take it to an independant, prolly no more than 500 or so. depending on how bad the backpanel is and frame.

I may be a little confused, but shouldn't the insurance company be covering the expenses. You should get a new bumper, which at the dealership will be at least above $800, then repainting at about $300. Then frame damage which well cost you at least another $300 or more. I don't know if your bumper can be repaired and if it can be it will cost about $1000 hopefully including frame damage, if not a little less than $2000, or depending on how much you can get the bumper for.

that bumper brand new is over $800 for a fact because i had that same bumper on my car. to fix it and get it painted your looking at ..... more than $1,000. maybe 1,500.:(
