My Bi-Xenon Headlights.. Ive worked on them some more!! not finished though.

I had a chance to work on my headlight project on the weekend.. I finally secured the porjector in place inside the headlight.
still lots of work to do.. but Im closer now!..

I wont be disclosing the info of where I got the projectors from!!.. but you can sometimes find them on ebay.. or maybe even get lucky and find a set at a wreckers.
I got them cheap.. just depends on how lucky you are is all.
its way too much work to make a few sets of them.. Id have to make molds of everything so it would be easier.. then I could just make all the parts out of strong plastic and use vacuum molds!

they will be a one off's for sure.. sorry!!

lol.. well lets put it this way.. its taken me about 2 years to get to this stage!! so if I were to make another set after this (very unlikely!!) then you'd be waiting a very very very long time!!

Slammed i was wondering if your interested in buying Angel eyes they came off 2005 X5. they way you have your projector seated this should fit. by the way the new wheels you got is a Bad Ass.

Ya! Its from E65 2005 X5 Bi-xenon. i'll put up close up pictures when i get or make some Eyelid. the way it looks right now its not bad at all although the picture does not do justice.

i still need to finalize the aiming not a problem at this point though.

only if my lens was perfectly clear. it would be the nice.
the projector is so colorfull. coming down the road it just flicker with different colors.

LOL, not without a hitch though.:D I tried to work arround my budget but end up spending more because i was trying to be cheap!

i have the projectors and the xenon kit of of a new model e320 and i have a set of extra headlight to work on the only problem is that the projectors are in venezuela were im studing and im in aruba for vacation, will leave to venesuela in 2 weeks and i will be returning to aruba in dec so hopefully ill have pics by dec ,still a long way tough.but hey now i can finaly show my friends the end results. slammed c dont give up i'm still chearing for u!!:D

hey slammed the size on the small ring is
5inch and the bigger one 5 3/4 inch
the angeleyes is powered by fiber optic. i guess you can put led though.

I was thinking about buying the clear lens. but i figure to just be different and do a projector for just abit more money.

clear lens is the way to go for projector to see that nice cut off.

let me know about the angeleyes i really dont know how much to sell them but just make an offer. if not its going to ebay soon

Thanks for the offer.. but I cant use them.. they rings are way too big.. they owuld be almost as large as my headlamp opening.. nevermind the projector!!
I will have to make my own then.. which was what I was going to do anyway.

That a Great OEM Look man, Remember to bend the Shield to get more Color on the cutoff.

Not as good, but I did similar on my car a few months ago. I used E46 headlights (from a 2000 BMW 3-series).

Seems to do the job... Took me a few hours. Alignment is a hassle. I bought euro assemblies since it has separate high/low/fog bulbs (my car is 1996 W202).
