1994 E320

Does anyone know how to go about changing the front speakers on top of the dash in a 1994 E320? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

If you look at the speaker grilles, toward the inner side of the grilles is a small cover that is about 1/2 inch wide that goes the length of the grille. If you pull up on it from the front with a small pick or screwdriver, it will keep lifting up and pull out from the rear. Then under that small cover is 2 small phillips-head screws, remove them and lift out speaker grille. Then pul out speakers, there are no screws holding them in, just clips. Sometimes they can be a real bear to get out, especially now that they've been in there for 11 years. Good luck....
