which one of these h1's should i order? I want that blueish tint going on but i don't want something that the wattage will be enough to melt or short something. I just want to plug and play.

i want this kind of effect. Not sure wether they are blue or the white ones but i need a little blue in them. I wonder if anyone here is running a kit for the h1's and the headlights? Can you even run two kits? Might draw too much power. i don't know why this whole light upgrade thing is so confusing for me...

Hey Mr. Gatsbury just noticed that your a c280 owner in jersey, i got the same year and same model, you headin up to the meet saturday october 8th?
anways you probably know that the c280 does have a space for a fog light however that space is for the air duct to bring air to cool the brakes. i dont know what would happened if you removed that or just placed it somewhere else......
also if you are looking to replace your night lights i would suggest nokya bulbs. ive heard they are pretty decent bulbs or you can try hoen bulbs...
just some thoughts

I've got Nokya bulbs for high low and fogs, I love 'em. The high and fogs, whichever kind of bulb they are, are less blue than the low beam, but the low has a real nice blue-ish color. I've ran 'em for a couple years now with no problems with melting or excessive heat after hours of use and they're plenty bright IMO. I recommend them.
Make sure you don't touch the glass of the bulb when you put 'em in!

vbroc, are those nokya's pulg and play? (are they just replacement bulbs?) i'm looking for nice h1's for the headlight fogs with some kind of bluish tint. I rarely use the high beams so im only really concearned with the low beams and the headlight fogs...the funny thing is i mostly drive around with just the healight fog's on :D
mblova,
hey man what's up? I won't be able to make it to the meet. My best friends sister's wedding is that day. But we have to have another meet some time soon. It would be nice to have someone in the area for projects and stuff....

lool same here the one reason stopping me from getting xenon lights is because i never use my lights...i only have the headlight fogs on, cause they really do look beutifull, as for my other cars xenon is a must

Yup, they're plug and play, pretty simple. It's a bit of a pain to get the bulbs in and out regardless of what kind they are, but it's all covered in the owner's manual.
Here are a couple pics I took last night, you can't really see the blueish color, but it's there. These are with the low beams and the fogs on.

it's hard to get a true pic of headlight color. They don't look blue enought to me though. i know you said i can't really see the blue but i don't even see the smallest hint of blue.
mail me your bulbs so i can try them out right quick....:D

You can see in this pic with the headlights off that they have a nice blue coating on 'em, but yeah, it's hard to get a good pic of the color with them turned on.
