The rims on my C36 have got many grinding marks and side scrapes after parralell/valet parking every day for years.

Is there a service that refinishes/repairs rims, smooth parts back out and repaint it to match the rest of wheel (matte grey AMG)? If you know of a shop that doese this, or if this is even possible, let me know. I'd hate to waste great AMG rims if I could save them.

-Thanks

I know a place in Dallas that does it for $125 flat fee no matter how bad they're damaged (i.e. bent, cracked, whatever). I guess it doesn't really help you, but it means that there are places that specialize in this.

wheeltechnologies.com if ur interested.

I know of shops in Oklahoma that claim to repair wheels, but they actually just send them down to Dallas.

Good luck.

Good for the ideas, it's good to know that it is possible to clean up my rims. I'll check the link from the prior wheel post.
Thanks all.

Depending on the wheel, EF1 Motorsports may be able to do the job. They are located in Long Beach, ask for Fabrizio. He'll let you know what can and can't be done.

Last I checked, it was like $200 to lip polish all four of my wheels, which would get rid of any rash.

Ray- Thanks so much for the info on the wheel repairing place in Long Beach, they're not too far from me. I think a lip polish is exactly what my wheels need, and 200 bucks is a great price to say these. I'll make sure to post the before/after pics.

Hey, I'm getting my 18" AMG monos refinished at this place in Long Beach called "Performance Plus".
Ask for Manny (562)988-0211 I think it was $150-160 for all four.
