Does anyone know if it's possible to switch the front seats so the passenger seat becomes the drivers seat?
Anyone done it?
I have the sports seats for a '99 C-class.
The drivers and passerngers front seats appear identical in shape and attachments.
MB dealer says part numbers are different for front seats.....so, he suspects it is not possible. Yet, I've done this on another car that have different part#'s and it worked fine.
(One prob. I've heard about is that the passenger seat has the child/air-bag sensor, so something must be done about that. I have a new cushion but I'd like to switch for wear and tear on the leather and seat pan, etc.)
