Remove screws:

1 behind the chrome door handle

1 under the door pull

1 by the door latch

Unsrew your door pin (if youre using the w208 ones then no bother.

Start from bottom and pull door card away from door. It will make pop'n sounds and you will probably break some clips but that is to be expected.

Once you have done all of that you will need to pull up as the top portion of the card is held on by metal clips.

You will have some resistance while trying to pull up its normal.

And there you go.

....add the 2 wires for the blinking part and the rest of the mirrors is plug and play :D ...
Did you have the mirrors repainted or are you leaving them 197?

Steve- I am going to leave them, and see if it looks ok, if not, I will get them painted with my spoiler.

I have another question- Where is everyone tapping into the blinkers at for the mirrors? What color wires am I looking for on a 1999 C230K?

Look at your tail lights. Check the wires for the blinker in the tail lights.
And look inside the gutter on the front doors underneath the door sills.
I taped mine that way.

black with a white line for 1 side (I think it was left) and black with a green line for the other side (should be right then)...
