Well here they are.. I got them yesterday from the ups guy.
They are Lowenhart LD1's (2 piece wheel) 19x8.5 and 19x9.5.. 2.5" lip up front and 3.5" lip in the back..
and if you are thinkin doesnt he already have these wheels.. the answer is yes I do.. but the Lowenhart Maido MD1(1 piece wheel) and in 19x8.5's.

WOW! Those are NICE! Where did you get them and how much? Kinda like my wheels but mine have no lip :( and are they heavy?

Got them from ebay.. just over $2000.
The rears weigh 29.2lbs each, the fronts weigh 28.4lbs each.
yep, they are kinda like your wheels.. they are like my old wheels too, except these ones are 2 piece wheels and have lips!

Nice. As long as they are not chrome, I like Lowenharts. So many wheels copy their style so you know they are doing something right. With that kind of bling, I think you should repair your front fender so it doesnt bulge so unevenly.

yeh me either.. I dont like chrome.. but I got no chrome on these wheels.. pilished lips!!
Lowenharts are the ish man.. they gots it goin on.
lol.. repair my fenders???.. what do you mean!! there is nothing wrong with my flare job.. no worries.. I will fill those flares up nicely.

I thought you said the paint cracked.
Anyway, not to suggest jumping on the bandwagon but... why not paint the center black and get the lip high polished? I know everyone does it but I havent seen many Lowenharts set up like that. And now, before tires get mounted, would be the perfect time.
By the way, multipiece rules RAWK!!!:bandit:

Well yeh the paint cracked... slightly!!.. hell who am I kidding.. it cracked large!! Im not getting them repainted.. Im doing something with some carbon fiber.. whenever I can find a supplier that isnt stupid expensive.
I have thought about painting the centres.. and yes now would be the perfect time.. before I mount tires on them!.. but Im not sure.. one part of me says send them out to be painted.. another part of me says keep them the way they are.. I dont know. Im torn.
and if I do get them painted.. do I get them painted 040 to match my car.. or powder coated black.. I was thinkin maybe flat black.. I dont know.
yeh the lips are pretty highly poilished.. almost look chromeish.

If you are going to paint them, I say get them to match the car and use the same paint Mercedes used for the car. I had a white W202 and had white wheels put on (going for the whole monochromatic thing) and the wheels were powdercoated like 1 shade of a different white and it used to drive me crazy looking at it. To me, it may as well have been powdercoated orange b/c it didnt seem to match at all. Everyone else thought it looked the same color and thought I was crazy but I could tell.
Hey, if you are not going to put tires on them until winter is over, then that should give you some time to decide what to do. I say paint them. I know everyone does this, but it looks good so who cares.
As for a supplier of carbon fiber. Well, we have this carbon fiber freak over at bnzsport (and former benzsport) who goes by the name of Kuhl Carbon (since everything in his SLK is carbon fiber). He goes through a supplier called Feather Carbon - who can custom mold whatever you want. I have never done business with them but I have seen the high quality of Kuhl Carbon's carbon fiber work and it looks excellent. Some people at benzsport took Kuhl Carbon's recommendation and used Feather Carbon and were pleased with the results too. So maybe you want to contact them for your carbon fiber needs...

monochromatic look does sound good, but i would not paint those rimms, since they do look beutifull as they are

Man I really like them wheels...look much better with lip then without. I wish I have money to buy them :(
Please post some pixs for all of us when you have them on...well maybe not until next year....since winter is coming up. I hate them too...it suck here in Salt Lake.
