hello ppl, i seem to have found myself a german c43 amg bodykit, mint condition, and i was wondering....will it fit perfectly on my c230 98 american spect car or no..i mean is the job simply removing the old bumpers and placing in the new kit without ne fiddiling around and shoving and pulling....

take it to a decent body shop if u dont trust anyone tell me ill take u to one that i do all my work 3ndo...

yeah but is it a simple job or does it involve a lot of work, cause i was thinking since its amg then it should just slide right in no effort at all

with the amg kit you need to get the bumper supports in the back of the bumper. they are completely different than the ones that comes with the stock mercedes. if you have those its a direct bolt on then.

Do it yourself, its easy. IIRC, the front bumper is held on only be 6 screws/bolts. The rear bumper is also only held on by like 4-6 screws/bolts. I have seen nightmares from bodyshops that dont know how to work on a Mercedes Benz. Even Carrozerrio Designs (spelling?) in Irvine is a somewhat reputable shop but they are horrible IMHO, I had to redo my friends W209 CLK500 front bumper that they did before and they didnt even get the side mounts/sliders on correctly and the bumper was near dangling/falling off. If you cant do it yourself, just make sure you take it to someone who knows how to work or specializes on MB's.

is it the entire front and rear bumper assembly.. with the brackets attached?
you want to get rid of it at all?!!
