dont know if it was u, but some1 bought 202 fog lights of ebay and posted there pics, and most members came to the same conclusion that they wont fit, or work, and even if you do get them wired up it would pose some danger cause the vents at the bottom are air vents for cooling the disks/brakes
so im curious to c how ur gonna fit them, cause i know a lot of ppl who want to get this done without having to pay for a whole bodykit...do post some pics when ur done

yes they will u just gotta know how on the stock bumpers if its the facelift bumpers its gona b slightly easier than the older bumpers, if u get the mesh things out on the facelift bumpers u gotta take off the bumper take these two things that pull out to get access to the mesh thing get the drill bit which drills a large hole the size of the fog and then align the fog to screw it into the top of the bumper so the fog is visible out of the mesh as a nice flush circle and inside the bumper all the back of the fog light is there and the fitting is placed towards the top and screwed into the bumper, when u place the bumper back yes it does block the air rushing through to the brakes a little, so i just took the undercover off the bottom of my merc which helps it keep everything cool the engine and hte brakes so it does the same thing, even if u keep the bottom cover on the brakes still work fine, theres only a certain amount of air that gets through that mesh anyway.
i hope this helps but if someone says they wont fit, dont ever believe wont or cant these words shouldnt exist for anyone on this forum because if u love ur merc ul find a way if u expect to press a button and then push the new fog in and everything is flush it aint happening u gotta end up cutting ur hands up a little bit on the bumper and scuffing ur clothes because thats just the way it is lol

I really doubt that a c230, c220, or c280 brakes get really hot. I mean just regular driving should not heat your brakes up to a point in which you need cooling vents to cool down the brakes. I think that a c36 or c43 might heat up the brakes way more than a 4 or 6 banger.

Actually, the C36/C43 should be cooler since they have larger disks. The increased size should allow them to dissipate more heat.

Yeah you are probably right. I dont really know anything about cars, but I know that brakes on these models dont get too hot.

My c280 brakes overheated, brake fluid boiiled, and smoke started commign out.. does that count?
