It isn't commercially available yet, and is unlikely to be so for the next 1-2yrs, only just been demo'd at SEMA show in USA,

Here are some of the specs:

Monitor : 7" Wide Mode Digital TFT LCD Touch screen
Audio Integrated DirectSound compatible AC97 Audio CODEC
1 × 4ch stereo DirectSound Channel Output
1 × MIC Input Jack
1 × Phone Input & Mono Output Jack
2 × Stereo LINE Input
1 × SPDIF PCM Channel Output (Option)
HDD 40GB / 80GB / 120GB Available
DVD-ROM 1 × Slim Type DVD-RoM Drive
Serial Port 1 for GPS Module ( Internal )
VIDEO Input 3 × VIDEO Input Port Wireless LAN 1×Wireless LAN support
RADIO FM: 87.5 MHz ~ 108 MHz AM: 153 KHz ~ 1710 KHz
AMP 44W x 4CH
TV VHF : 2~ 13 CH; UHF : 14~ 69 CH
OS/Program WINDOW XP HOME EDITION

I cant figure out how to upload pics, so can't show any but the unit looks awesome(i think).

Please let me know what you think, of the specs above,
I have looked at other Drivesoft units or Carputers and this appears to be better but would like some opinions if anyone has any?

I have a carpc. Not PC in dash, it's in the trunk, but I have my 7" touchscreen up front for interaction. It'll do everything that thing will and it's all wire up proper and mostly concealed.

I'm currently building a new mini-itx system and was considering putting it in the car....

But after seeing this thread it made me realize what's the point. This system is so bad-arse it's made me lose all interest!

Man, i'd so rock that. that is friggen awesome!!

Althought car PCs based on the micro mother boards have been done before, this is the most beautiful and stylish version I've seen so far. It has a very classy and high-quality look. It gets mad props for style alone imho.

Any idea how much something like this would cost?

i second kameraguy's point... it's way too cool. so cool that i don't like the one in my car now.
and the worse thing is that it's not even for sale yet.
now i feel bad.

broken is quite a light word here...
a crash would probably be slightly closer to truth.
but damn that thing is nice...

He said broken in to, not broken. I think he was stating that with such a diamond like that sitting in your dash, a theif would break right in and take it.
