"Avantgarde" Badges

Hey all,

I live in Canada and my 99 W202 is a "Classic" version. Since I will be getting the Avantgarde grille soon, I would love to replace those badges on the side panels with "avantgarde" badge (which we dont have in Canada). Is it still possible to order these from my dealer? I need a part # and how are these badges attached?

I was a Toronto member...now I'm a Cambridge member.

I don't know what they were thinking when the came up with "Classic" and "Elegance".

Does anyone know if they badges that say "Kompressor"?

Avantgarde sounds amazing.

Classic and Elegance sound boring.

i debaged them because unless it says brabus or AMG im not putting on anyhting (waiting for a bodykit to stick a badge)
sport also sounds nice,

mine's is sport. the previous ownder took away all the letterings on the trunk but put an extra "sport" badge underneath the tail light. turned out pretty good.

I'm not sure which one is worst, they both sound a little San Fransiscan to me.

I don't know about you guys, but I could live without the guy next to me on the highway knowing I have an MB-Tex interior.

They should have just had two badges:

#1 "Mercedes-Benz"
#2 "AMG"

Even a "Made in Germany" badge would have been better.

Do the 2001+'s have classic/elegance badges? I can't remember seeing one.

BTW dealer wants $25 CDN per badge.:(
