Does anyone own any of this stuff?

And also what do you think I should do with the speakers considering the sub and amp? Run all the speakers through the head unit?

I have the 9855, it's great. I got the colors to match my dash, while the sound and options are crazy... the GlideTouch Control is alil hard to due while driving, but thats why i have an automatic

I am also not a big fan of that Alpine due to the glide touch. Cool idea, but a pain to use. I think their pulse touch is better in the IVAD310, but that's a flip out and costs a little more. As far as speakers, I think the Alpines are ok, but I would recommend either Boston, or Diamond Audio. I am a big fan of the realism that the Diamond's produce. Not to mention the D971's, component set, handles 200rms. I think what you have picked overall will make a well sounding system, but there is always room for improvement.

Yes okay. So if the glide touch is such a problem why wouldn't you use the remote while driving which seems to be the easier option

Focal has a tendency to be overly bright when mounted in factory locations. Been through the K2P's and Utopia's, and in my opinion they're overpriced and not worth it. And that's being powered by my McIntosh MCC404, which is quite a degree more natural sounding than an Eclipse PA or DA series (EA is less bright, but that's because it is less revealing).

Obviously people's hearing varies, so take it with a grain of salt. But I went with DLS Ultimate Reference (before DLS Iridium came out) and have never been happier.

My other gear is all McIntosh except for Eclipse Ti subs.
