View Full Version : Why my hagus mirrors didnt fit!

Well after spending hundreds of hours pondering why the heck my 535NZD hagus mirrors didnt fit......there made for left hand drive LOL,so the angles are all wrong...
which leaves me no option but to sell(see classifieds)

damn that sucks mate. After all that, have u got any idea where to get the proper fitting ones for us with LHD's? Lemme know, cause I want to get some.

Hmmm sounded like an ozzy accent:D...then i looked over at your location lol...must have been the "mate" part heh

hey im not sure if they ever made them for RHD,but if they did then they will be hard to find for sure!...

thanks guys,but they just dont fit well,theres a 10mm gap where there shouldnt be....you cant see out them because the angles and shape of the mirrors are wrong....

hey logan,na you cant swap them round,i could make custom brakets but have decided its way too much work!

Why would LHD make a difference???

In any case, trust me, the gap is supposed to be there on a post model update w202. It was on Luwin's car....

because mirrors are set up at optimum angles depending on the side of the car you sit,I find i cant adjust the mirrors enough to see due to the housing being at the wrong angle....,same goes for the stock mirrors,i was told by a local MB parts supplier...
they even told me about the this guy who imported a whole heap of mirrors to sell cheap here,as it turned out they were made for left hand drive and couldnt be sold.
