hey im about to purchace LED lights for my car, the only lights i saw here are the chrome ones (and ordering of ebay is impossible due to me being outside the states) so i have a couple of questions:
1) do the lights burn up, if so how hard is it to replace
2) the parking lights will still b there or no ?
3) i searched posts by many ppl about the smoking the tail lights (most by iamjanuar) and i am still wondering how hard it is to do it ?

ok, LED take for ever to burn out, well i never had any problems with them, and if you are talking about those tail lights - they have a thing where if one burns out - the others will still stay lit up. changing an LED is just like changing a regular light bulb as far as i know!

ok, tinting, well i was going to do that, but i just cant find the right paint. so i dont know much about that - BUT if you decide to try, i would suggest u practice on like an old light that you are not going to use - u kno, just to see how it will turn out becuase im sure you would not want to screw up the lights on you MB.

just my suggestion. practice makes perect!

tinting lights is not very difficult, it just takes patience, be prepared to devote a few hours to it, and to let it dry overnight, all u gottah do is go buy some tint spray, i use tamiya, u can find it at any hobby store, and some clear coat, i would suggest getting clear coat that is made for being used outside(not for models for actual cars)as it most likely weathers better. I would also suggest some steel wool, get the finest grade u can, and u can buy it at any hardware store. and heres what u should do

1.) clean ur lights, and wet sand them w/the steel wool
2.) spray them w/tint, try to do pretty thin coats, and wet sand between coats, spray till u like how dark they are do one final wet sand
3.) put ur clear coat on and it should come out real clear and shiny cuz of all the wet sanding
4.) let them dry in a dry place for a few hours, overnight would be best

me and my friend did his m3 tails many times and found that this was the best way to go, if u mess up we found the best way to get the tint off is to spray a CRAP LOAD of clear on and get a cloth that isnt too linty and wipe it all off then start the process over again, wish i had pics of his tails, they came out real nice, they arent too dark, and they are almost as clear as the oems

it takes abuot 7-10 days to fully cure. i suggest letting each coat dry for 24 huors before you do another coat wet sanding helps. i suggest using 800-1000 grit sandpaper. then after final clear coat wet sanding, use rubbing compound and a buffer. it will turn out real slick like this
