Ignition Retard Dial

Hey, does anyone have a pic of the ignition retard dial, its only on euro spec cars, I need one because most of the numbers have worn off mine and I am trying to see which is the lowest setting, its on 1 at the moment, is 0 next to it or 7? 23k, c280nz, you guys should have one

I couldn't spot anything on my C280... Got a location on it?

umm, near ECU, no digi cam at the moment so no pics sorry, its sort of a knob with 7 points and all of them are numbered

next to number 1 is number 7, it goes 1-7.
i just had a look,
i would be careful playing with this knob as you can make the car ping if you change gas etc.
myne is set on number 3.
i am going to use this to retard timing when going for boost.

so your car runs fine on 1? what other mods? what grade fuel?

i cant be bothered taking a pic and hosting it, there was a good write up on it somehwere cant remember where, from memory it allows like 7 degrees variation in timing

Well if its on 1 thats the best im gonna get, only performance mods for mine is straight through exhaust with AMG rear muffler, and a carbon air intake, I run it on 98 octane always, also, my guess is your car might be too new 23k

I found out why mine has it, mine has archaic electronics, ie before OBD upgrade, as my car doesnt even have a CEL, I have decided it will be best to leave the knob where I found it.
