guys,
i will be needing a new performance exhaust from the cat and back that's relatively quiet. this one i have now's got its inner lining falling out and making an annoying noise.
the problem is, my 202's got a reiger body and the exhaust comes out of that little exhaust hole on the rare lower add-on bumper. so i don't know if the angle of any exhaust tip would fit. it may be my ignorance but is it possible to to make the exhaust tips fit through that hole by tweaking with the installation of the exhaust? what do u guys think?

I also need an exhaust tip - but i just want the tip like an AMG.
I want something that will sound good - not loud but a nice deep tone when the RPM's hit over 3,500
any suggestions on a tip like that ?

i am not currently in US, so no pics.
but guys, what's a good exhaust that's relatively quiet?
also, correct me if i am wrong, even if it may not fit perfectly, i can have a muffler shop to refit the tip so that it can get through, right?

from my experience, remus is probably the quietest of the bunch.

nenad,
so which model of the remus lineup would u recommend? do they have a specific model for 202? is it a whole cat back setup?
or would u recommend a generic muffler and have a shop build the rest?
thanks for your help.

there are model specific mufflers for from remus. they also have quite a selection of mufflers with different tips, choose the one you like and thats your car specific.
you can go with a universal remus, but the muffler body will be smaller, thus producing more noise.

I really like Eisenmann. I have an Eisenmann TI on my BMW and I Love it. I had a Lorinser exhaust on my W202 before, I was thinking about getting an Eisenmann Race, but I changed the whole theme of my car and decided to go full Brabus and just got a Brabus exhaust. IMHO, Eisenmann sounds the best on our cars. Eisenmann Race exhausts are not subdued at all, its really throaty and in your face.

i know what u mean. i have heard the eisenmann sound and i liked it. in fact, right now, i have a hand fabricated exhaust from the cat without resonator on the car. yeah, it's in the face and all. but the inner lining of the exhaust tip is not exactly in tack and it's making a very annoyingly loud clattering sound in low revs.
then again, with a loud exhaust it makes it hard for me to hear my music. i am not a fan of loud heavy music so the exhaust noise is a problem.
as i was going to change the tips to fix the clatter, i might as well just go ahead and get a new, more subtle exhaust.
that's why remus.
thanks for your input and support though. glad to see someone willing to give me an opinion. appreciate that.
