guys,
i need a scissor jack. i should have gotten one of these long ago. but hey, better late than never.

i found this Torin Scissor Jack with 1 Ton cap, is it enough? mine's a c280.

i need a jack compact enough to go under the sideskirts on a lowered car.

any suggestions, links, ideas are appreicated. thanks.

edit:
this will be the only jack i keep. i live in a apartment so it's a parking in a garage biulding. can't afford the luxury of a house garage so no room for my own floor jack. ease of use, durability, minimum height, and weight are all important to me so i am willing to invest some money to get a good one. please shoot me some ideas and help me out, guys.
thanks again.

thanks for the input and all, but can anyone give me some concrete info about a sturday, easy to use and portable jack? i don't have a garage so the jack will stay in the car. a regular floor jack, though good, is too big for my use.
anyone?

bottle jacks are mostly way to high unless your in a tractor or 4*4
whats wrong with the standard jack?

when i bought my car, it's already got a rieger body on. so the side skirt covered the hole needed for stock jack. then again my acr didn't come with the stock jack...
further more, the bodykit made the quest for a good jack even harder since it's lower than the stock sides.

Hehe, I bought a 2 ton floor jack from autozone a year ago for like $20. It was low profile enough to fit under my lowered car. I felt like such a cheap asshole though for buying such a piece of shit. The oil started to leak out after a few months lol.

I'm sure this doesn't help you though, unless you're on a tight budget. Just thought I'd share.

since it's going to be the only jack i have, i am willing to pay probably significantly more than $20 for it. well, anyone know of anything good, let me know.
