All
On my 1993 C180, the heating in the cars cabin is constantly on regardless of the setting on the temperature dial. Even if the dial is set to the maximum cold, the side vents that blow air on the side windows continue to blow hot air. Does anyone have experience of why this could be?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I do not know if there is one. Where should I look for that? Only thing I know off is the rear window heater switch.

Thanks. What may be the fix for this? Is there anything I can do to close it?
TIA

should be necessary to replace it with a new one. But please wait a more skilled reply.

You can try givin it a tap with something solid to see if that breaks it free and closes. Good possibility that it will happen again in the future. Best bet to prevent it from happening in the future is to replace it.
