I'm new to 202.com. I recently (Sept. 05) purchased a 1999 C43 with 90k on it. The car is a dream to drive, impecably clean. Both sporty & classy at the same time. By far, the best I've owned to date (C55 next Winter!).

The only thing, is that the transmission seems to hesitate when shifting under hard acceleration. Basically, if I nail the gas off the line, all of first is great, until it goes to shift into second. . . . where it seems to hesitate. As if it were hitting the rev. limiter. It used to shift into neutral; and stay there, under hard acceleration, now it just hesitates. Anyony experience the same problem?

The shifting under "normal" acceleration is clean & crisp, as are the downshifts.

I've been back to MB 4 times already, but still unbable to find a fix for it. The torque converter has been verified, the fluids were changed, the Mas sensor replaced, the oxygen sensor replaced. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I dont have any real ideas but just so you know, the 97-99 autos are known to have issues.
