K2 o ring (gearbox)

hi, need some our expert opinion....

i observed the was an oil leak at the gearbox. The oil will shoots out the the gear enggage. When i ask my mechanic, he told me that this is due to the defective K2 oring. My last ATF change is about amonth ago (ATF+filter+gasket).

What should i do next, just replace the defective K2 oring or should i go for autotrans overhaul. For info, i dont observe any abnormal noise from the gearbox at the moment.

my ride is c220 ' 94.

by K2, I assume you are refering to the clutch pack 2? the only seal that is sealing clutch packs would be the front trans seal, but I dont think that is what you are talking about.
