My New Fog Lights......black projector style!...

I bought a set of the Black Projector Fog Lights off ebay.. they are not that bad.. but not up to OEM quality at all.
I knew they wouldnt be that great.. but I love the look of them. so I chanced it and bought them.

I still need to buy a C43 front bumper.. and that I will order most likely next week.
but here are some pics of the fog lights.. and also some pics of the fog lights with an OEM fog light to compare..

Are you intending to put them on a c43 front numper? I saw those on ebay, asked the seller if they fit on a c43... no reply :(

Yeh Im going to be putting them on a C43 front bumper.. which I need to order still!!...
but I know.. I emailed the seller on ebay as well.. no response form him about if they fit on a C43.. but it said in the auction.. dont fit sport bumpers.. it had almost all the models listed.. and the sport bumpers for the W210 and W208 (AMG) have round fog lights.. so these ones should fit in the W202 AMG bumper..
comparing them to the OEM C43 fog lights.. they have the identical shape and mounting points.. so they will fit just by looking at them!

Yeh they look pretty cool..
and as soon as I have a bumper to put them into I will post up pics!! ordering C43 front bumper this week for sure.
I wonder the same thing.. I hope they dont get chipped or broken that easily.. they have no actual lens cover over the light assembly.. so Im a lil worried.

Probably wont be for a couple weeks.. I still need to order the full C43 front bumper.. and then get it painted. so depending on if the bumper cover is special order.. it may take a week for that.. then depending on how busy the body shop is it may take a week to get it painted.
but I will for sure post up pics when it all happens.

hey man they look tight but your suppose to take apart the old lens and install them over the projector to protect it.....thats what i was told.......

I was told that these lights are just the inner guys of the fogs. You gotta use your stock fog lense over them...

hmmm.. well theres no point in putting the stock lens over the projector fog.. cant even see anything inside.. I may have to buy a set of the crystal clear fogs off ebay to get the clear lenses!!!

I tried to put a set of the stock fog light lenses nto my projector lenses.. they dont even come close to fitting!!

stock fog light lense would be useless...get a crystal fog light...or if you want to live dangerously..leave it as it is

Has anybody here installed any version of these ebay fog lights in a pre-facelift 202? they don't come with a fog light originally, I was thinking of buying one of these to put in a stock location.

Im pretty sure they wont fit. you need to have the C43 front bumper for them to fit.

I havent bought a C43 front bumper yet.. I dont htink I will be buying it anytime soon.. its not cheap!
I have the brabus front add on piece.. but I need a pre updated front bumper. so Im looking for a used one of them instead. I may modify the projector fogs to fit into the brabus rectangular fog lights though.
I will still keep you posted on what I do.. WHEN I actually do it!
