guys,
i just got a set of aluminum pedals. i understand holes needs to be drilled in for it to fit. so here's my question. do i drill holes in the stock rubber molding and attach it to that, or do i have to drill through the lower pedal plate with a direct attachment? the brake pedal plate looks like it's really tough to drill though.
also, about the dead rest pedal, do i have to drill holes on the floor boards? or do i just use the screws that came with it to force their way in?
much thanks.

hey what's up i got the floor pedals also. this is what you do. you take out the rubber things on the pedals. you are going to need to cut the rubber pedals off. then you put the new ones on and you have to drill 4 holes in the plastic factory pedals that's were they are going to shit flush. the e brake you don't need to drill its just like a suction cup. It goes around it but you have to take out the other rubber thing that's on top of it. now the foot rest do not drill holes! Just use the screws and screw it down that's it then you done.

its for my turbo kit. its monitors the air to fuel the vacume/boost and how hot the exhaust fumes get in my motor

BTW, I wonder if you can use the AMG cluster with your engine managment computer and transmission control unit signals feeding it. (if anyone knows, please speak up) If so, I guess ya can find out where Jeff's (speedybenz's) car is going and buy it from them? Or maybe ya can talk him into swapping it out for yours before his car go to the recycler. ;)
p.s. real nice pic for the sig, but you know, when people look @ a thread you post in on their laptop with only 1024x768 resolution (like me when I'm not hooked up to the 20" lcd), your sig width causes the page to have to be scrolled right to left while reading each and every line. maybe consider a sig no wider then about 800px?

for some reason i am under the impression that the brake pedal is a big piece of steel. so i have to drill through that??
about the cutting of the rubber pedal, i think jstrat's talking about the gas pedal. yes they all come off, but the gas pedal needs extra work of taking a bolt off before slide it out... well, not much work there, really.
about the interior pictures, i second that. it looks clean and well-pampered. can we see more of it?
