I'm too lazy to go downstairs and snap a picture of my instrument cluster to use. So I searched the forums for a picture and found this one from MbenzNL's car. It's different than mine, mine is older style.

Anyway, what do you think? I don't even know of the feasibility of doing this in a clean way.

Honestly, it didn't look as good as I expected :p

I goes very well with that steering wheel and Nav.

random: do the buttons on the steering wheel actually work ?

yes, thats why u install it. so the cluster will display the nav directions, radio channel, etc, and the steering wheels buttons to control the menus.

I like it!

very Elegant, not the usual sporty ones you normally see, and the fact that everything works is awesome!

lol, I don't know, I like minimal styles and keeping things simple.

I took a shot of the cluster in my car, which is a 95 C280, and this is what it would look like. I took even more this time :D I think it looks better on this cluster because there is no gap between the white mph line and the orange km/h line. I wish the 3000 rpm mark was at the same angle as the 60 mph mark, it would have made it look perfect.

One cool thing to do is put a green marker where the car gives most horspower on the rpm gauge. Basically telling the driver is that that's where you wanna go :p

I'm not sure that it is possible to do this by just keeping the already existing gauge faces, because when it's dark and you light the guages, I'm sure whatever you used to hide the white will be visible. It's just a thought that I figured I could share with people here. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll see it materialize on someone's 202.

That looks great...but kind of tough to tell if you're speeding.

it's looks cool and all. but i hate to have to really look down to know how fast i am going, or counting the spaces on the rev meter.
