the bumpers have brakets on the side just below the fender - the bumper slides in them and they are made of plastic so check them out so that they are tightened and not broken.

I sorta have a small gap in between the read bumper and the trunk lid, under ther tail light panel, its about less then .5 inches.. But my car is black so you dont notice it much.

also, the brakets on the sides of the bumper are an "L" shape with 4 fixings for adjustment...you will most likely find the fixings to be loose thus causing the bumper to seperate from the gaurd...
an easy way to check this would be to remove the plastic liner infront of the wheel and check the bracket.

there is plently of adjustment in the brakets located infront of the wheels, just remove the plastic liner, loosen the braket and slide to desired position,re-tighten.

hmmm after reading this again....do you mean a vertical gap?,or are you refering to the bumper sitting out from the guard around 10mm which is a stock feature.

in my case, the front bumper sitting a little lower on the on the corners than it does it the middle, which leaves a gap between the plastic strips under the headlamps and the front bumper. but then this is just my side of the story, let's hear it from the thread starter.

What the hey!!!

I have this irritating bumper gap on the one side too!!!!

Did you guys manage to sort out the gaps!?!

All I have to do is remove the cover under the wheel arch and be able to access the brackets right??

I cannot stand those irritating gaps on the bumpers...

I am going to try to sort it out this weekend. I will do what 23k said.

If bumper gaps were people they would have been shot the very first time I saw them....

okay i think this is the gap you are referring too correct? I see heaps of 202's with this gap, including mine.

Did a search and couldn't find out how to remove the rear bumper? Anyone have instructions?

Thanks!

Remove all the bootlining, and you will see 4bolts etherside of the crossbar bulkheads, simply unscrew them & pull the bumper out.
