welcome to the site! i am sure u will find much of the help needed to take care of your w202 here.
regarding your question, i am no expert, but i would assume u can have wider tires to a certain degree. however, in terms of sidewall, i don't think u can have more/less without changing the height of the car.

Hi there,

Welcome to the site.

I previously had 205/60 R15 on my car. I think this is the widest/lowest setup you can get which is closest to your current 195/65 R15.

If you're looking to go wider, I had 215/60/15 Michelin Pilot's on my 95. They were fine and provided way better cornering grip.

Tire ideas!:

Wider tires look better.

Wider tires of the same brand disipate heat better allowing better traction.

Tires with a better compound/lower life disipate heat better for better traction.

The widest tire with the best compound will disipate heat giving the best traction. This tire will not last long, along with having poor characteristics in extreme weather.

Buy the tire you like at the stock size that you like if you aren't crazed about looks. Go to the tirerack.com and figure what you want, Ultra-perfomance summer or maybe just a performance all-season for better life/value.

My deal is, call tire rack, after doing some research, buy a tire they confirm fits you and have it put on at costco for dirt cheap with balancing and new stems. It is an incredible deal!

I"m not sure excatly what sight it was...i think it's benzworld or something like that.....
I'm going to go with the 205/60/15....Will this size cause the tire to kinda stick out, I hope not......I don't want it looking like some clown car.....

thanks again for all the input..
