Remote Starter. Infared Key. Is it possible?

I bought a cliford starter from best buy and also had them install it. They tried to install it and couldn't. They said they can't do it because of the infared key. Has anyone been able to install a remote starter? If so please let me know how u got it done.

the short answer is no....but with an extreme amount of time & money anything can be done, but in the end it wouldnt be worht it to the average person

no bypass exists for smartkey, only for the swicthblade key.

are alam systems intall-able on 202s with that flipout key with the one button unlock/locking feature? the driver sid door handle has the little square with green and red light.

I'm going to get an Clifford alarm system soon too.
