Hi all...
I just had a new shifter assembly installed in my 97 C230.....However when I'm stopping it seems is as thought the car is stuck in gear and then I get a jerk like it finally downshifted....any suggestions..

exactly! the oil looses its thickness after all the heat and use its been through, also when you open up the Tranny oil pan you will see a shit load of tiny metal particles around the magnet (if 202 have magnets) .... then just imagine - all that shit goes through the gears over and over, now do you think that can decrease the life of it ? YESSS!
