Hi all,

As you all might know I just purchased a 1997 C230...I wanted to upgrade my sound system...I don't have alot of funds and I'm not trying to win any bass competition..
I got a quote for $1200.00 for Kenwood HU(KD-828 I think), Kenwood speakers(5.25 front and 6.5 rear) Kicker(2 12inch w/box) and Kicker(amp 250-2)..

Is this a good deal and is decent equipment..thanks for your help on this

all you really need is a good HU (pioneer, alpine, eclipse) a good amp and sub, as for the speakers - MB makes good quality speakers, Im using my stock speakers and no problems.

first thing i changed in my car were the speakers....

(cant comment on the price since i dont know the price range in the states...)

Aftermarket HU+Bose Speakers+SUB/AMP=BADASS (IMO)! My setup, excluding CarPC, was under $500.
