custom intake?

has anyone made a custom intake for their c230k? is there noticeable power gains? sound changes? how hard was it to make? pics?

I would say J-Irwan is prob the only person with a w202 (C36) who has developed an intake from scratch and has put a good amount of miles on it so far. Hopefully he will chime in with some feedback.

Isn't C230k airbox as three opening..

1. for the incoming air
2. going to the throtle body,
3. I am not sure about the 3rd..


do you have any pic of your engine bay..?

yea the airbox is kinda weird....theres like 2 or 3 tubes going into it..

3rd one is a 'dead end' to muff the sound.
