wiring diagram for central console

i own a pre updated w202. and had to buy the part surrounding the shift knob cause mine was broken. i found a 97+ version, updated version, and the wiring is very very different.
the pre updated has a individual link to each boton, and the new one has only one link for all the wires.
can anybody help me with the wiring diagrams for the -97 and 97+ version so i can figure out if i can make them work?

or maybe someone can tell me if it can or cant be done.

You're not going to be able to make it work because the early style switches are live and wired individually, and the later style are voltage coded through a single connector and the voltage coded signal is sent via can-bus.
