I dont even know what kind of oil my MB is running on - my dad replaced it and used some German stuff, it was special ordered - dont know if its good but ill try to get the name of it - some of you might know what it is.

I ran Mobil-1 5W-30 on my C230K - and am still using it on my other cars at the present.

Costco sells a case of 6 for around $24

For one thing, Member's Gallery is just that Member's Gallery. Galleries are used for show, not asking technical questions. We have SEVERAL sections, to address various questions and topics. We even have an amazing Search button to help you sift through the various posts that have already been covered!

Please leave the Member's Gallery for our Member's to show off their rides, and not by asking questions that are not even related to anything. I would have let it slide if you asked a Member a question about oil, but to start a new Thread!?!?!?! C'mon, save me from standing on my soapbox and reposting about what is allowed in the Gallery as well as the various other sections.

I'm not freaking out at all. I just speak my mind when Member's obviously cannot follow the generally, basic, guidelines and the trends.

How useful is asking about motor oil, when I want to look at cars?

How useful is anything you have posted? Can you say you have particpated in the general good of this site and community?

REDLINE 10w-40 would be a perfect oil for low-mid boost force fed vehicles, in my formerly professional opinion. LOL

So does that mean you will not be posting Threads in the wrong Sections?

anyone besids jeff had experience with oil extreme? I have heard good things about that but had not had the chance to get a hold of it, I also believe redline and royal purple make oil, so those should be very good as well
