This is looking like a real pain. So what all
do I need to remove? Do I need a special
tool to remove the wires?

Thanks in advance!

its not that difficult to do.. but is somewhat of a pain.
you will need to remove the engine cover,
and remove the coil packs to make it easier to get at the plugs (since your car has the V6)
there is a special tool you can buy from the dealer to help remove the wires/boots.. but for the do it yourselfer it isnt really worth buying.. especially if youre only going to use it once or twice!
but remove the engine cover, coil packs with wires, then remove and replace the spark plugs.

A curved 17 wrench is used to pry the cable out of the spark plug. I wish I know how to paste a picture on this forum, so I can show you what a curved 17 looks like (every time I try to show a picture here, I really have a hard time trying to do it). The tool is very difficult to find, so a regular 17 will help. Still it is a pain. Some one reported on another forum that using good gloves and twisting before pulling will also work well.

But as someone said before, other than this it is not any more difficult that any mother V6 engine.

I did mine using a regular 17, and I fucked one cable which I was able to repair. I moved muscles that I haven't moved for 15 years, which I felt for a whole week.

Good luck and advise if there are any more questions.
