Does anybody have an opinion on which I buy 17 or 18 s ? Does 18 rides smooth as much the factory ones?
Welcome to the club!...you may want to search alittle as theres a ton on this topic.
17's and 18's will definatly be less smooth than your 15's.

i have 17's and my ride quality did not change drastically, however in my opinion 17's are small...very small therefore im changing soon to 18's....

i have a c220, and it definately lost a tonn of performance ( acceleration, braking etc ) from stockies to 17".
assuming urs is a 280, 18" should be fine.
have fun

In my C220 I didn't feel much change in performance going from 15s to 17s.
However, it corners much better! Maybe rides slightly stiffer.

i run 18" monoblocks in the summer with all season tires (Conti's)and i run 16" CLK wheels in the winter with all season tires (yokohamas's). the 18's actually ride smoother than the 16's. so it kinda depends on the quality of your tires also. can't ever forget that.
