I have a sony Xplod deck, everytime I turn my car off it resets everything so I have to constantly tune it to my settings everytime I turn on my car ... anyway to save this ? its really gettin on my nerves!!!!

I wasnt the one who wired it. when my mom had the car she had some store do it.

everything works - speakers, subs everything, just cant seem to find out how to save my settings.

i had this when i did my HU, because you have to use the VW wire harness you have to switch two wires, i dont remember which i think a yellow and a red, i got the info on this forum though, when you switch the two everything will work fine.

The installer mixed up the memory and the main power wire. They are usually Red and Yellow. Swap them and you should be good to go.

ok, so basically, I look for a Yellow and Red wire and switch them around?

then set everything and it will automatically save ? sounds too easy ;)

you have the power wire connected wrong. Go here www.drinstall.com and find the color coding to your car, after that make sure the power is connected correctly. I think i had that prob. b4 where I connected the power wrong.

ive fixed this looooong ago ... LoL a little too late buddy ! :D
