right front ball joint going out... constantly.

guys,
what's your experience with the right front lower ball joints? does yours goes out constantly? i had mind replaced last august and how that damn thing is leaking again.
anyone got some idea about this?

well, they weren't the best design from the beginning. almost every 202 and 210 which comes in our shop basically we try to sell ball joints because "they don't last long". mercedes wants almost absolutly no play what-so-ever in these. but you said its leaking so i am assuming you mean the boot is torn and grease is coming out. could be stress and driving style or it may have just ripped. this does happen alot.

i would get it replaced at a indy shop if u dont feel like doing it yourself, cuz i know they are $62 each side and we charge 2.4 hours labor to replace them, when it takes me about 10 minutes to do both sides!

i live in milford, ct right off I-95 exit 37. i work in fairfield though exit 25, so not far from greenwich at all. i'll PM you my #. give me a call and let me know what u need. if your down there around 12-1 or after 4:30 on weekdays i can slide ur car in during lunch or after work so i have a lift if we need one.
